Ash
I have over 15-years of experience within the bodybuilding and fitness industry, as both a coach and an athlete. With additional experience coaching team sports, such as Football and plyometric/functional training.
I first started working in a bodybuilding gym when I was 20, where I quickly absorbed and learned from high-level athletes. Eventually, my progress within training led me to pursue bodybuilding in 2016, where I competed at my first show, within the UKBFF.
Since then, I have trained within powerlifting and strongman as a hobby and competitively, with athletes who are now competing at the World Strongest Man.
Whilst my experience crosses over into different training styles, my main passion is Bodybuilding and physique development. Working with my Wife, and fellow coach, Loz, utilising our joint wealth of experience to create comprehensive, bespoke plans for our clients, to help them reach their goals.
Together, we have worked with a variety of lifestyle clients to help them throughout their weight loss journey, along with both natural and enhanced competitive athletes, taking them from Amateur level to being awarded as an IFBB Pro, competing at prestigious events such as the Arnold Sports Festival and other high-level competitions within the IFBB Pro League World-wide.
My last competitive season was in 2025, where I placed first at my regional show in Men’s Physique, and my plan is to return to the stage in 2026.

My journey within the fitness industry started when I left school and went to college. My mum, Stella, was newly qualified as a PT, and this gave me the idea of us becoming a Mother and Daughter PT duo – Leading me to study Level 3 Sports and Exercise Science, Nutrition and PT.
I was bullied in school, so going to the gym gave me a sense of empowerment. I didn’t want to be a weak female and to be looked down upon, I wanted to be seen as strong, capable and independent.
Fast forward to 2012, I got my first job within a gym, where I saw a poster for the first ever FitFactor competition at the prestigious BodyPower Expo. I unfortunately was too young to compete at the time, but I encouraged my mum to do the show. From here, I closely followed her Bodybuilding journey to learn the ropes; going with her to every show as her right-hand-man in a sense, whilst watching and learning first-hand how the industry works.
2015 – I had my first taste of stepping on stage and competed as a Bikini competitor within the UKUP federation. But I wanted to be better, so from here, I dedicated my every spare moment to the gym and doing the research of the different strategies and techniques for females, and competition prep, but it wasn’t until 2018 when I met Ash, I truly started to elevate. I stopped training in a commercial gym, on my own, to training with Ash, an experienced Bodybuilder in a spitting-sawdust, Bodybuilding gym.
2019 – I competed again in Bikini, at the NPC Regional Rumble, sadly placing last. But by then, I already new my passion was for figure.
Between 2019-2022 we had COVID-19 and Lockdown. During which time, Ash and I were relentless. We trained with logs, pulleys and ropes, bands, and basic home-workout equipment. We persevered and overcame all the obstacles in any which way we could. During this time, I also dabbled in Strongman training, and Powerlifting. Competing in and winning our local Powerlifting competition.
2022 – After a 3 years off-season, it was time to return to stage within the Figure category. I competed at the NPC 2BrosPro Regional, placing 4th/5th.
Two weeks later, I went to Alicante Spain to compete at the European Championships where I won my height class, and took the Figure Overall 1st place win, being awarded with my IFBB Pro card. I competed in the Europa Pro 2 days later, and placed 9th/17.
During this year, whilst Ashley and I were prepping, we also prepped my mum to compete in the UK and Europe, helping her to achieve her dream of being awarded her IFBB Pro Card.
2023 –
IFBB Sheru Classic UK - 8th/13
IFBB Europa Pro – 6th/18 – This show was special. Me and mum stepped on stage together, as competitors within the Figure division. Later this year, mum retired.
2024 – I made the decision to get a Coach, and joined Team Meg Sylvester-Cielen.
Ash, my mum and I went to the 60th Anniversary of the Mr.Olympia. This was an unforgettable dream-come-true moment.
2025 – Ash and I had the Wedding of our dreams. Which was quickly followed by starting prep for the next competitive season.
The Europa Pro for the 3rd time. This time in Germany – 8th/19
Romania Muscle Fest – 14th/29
Atlantic Coast Pro, Florida – My first experience of competing in the states, which was truly an amazing experience and the biggest Figure line-up of the year, second to the Olympia – 11th/39.
2026 - Off-Season. We know what we need to improve to come back better, to achieve better placings.
